England is a country wrought by pure excellence, valuing morality and their religion highly. The English, too, wish for excellence in the world, wanting to expand their borders, often the result of war with Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. If war with the Saracens reaches its peak and causes another Crusade, then England will do it's best to help the Catholic Church.

England is currently ruled by Henry II and his wife, Eleanor of Aquitaine. Their son, Richard is likely to gain the throne while their youngest son, John, vies for it. The three daughters: Matilda, Eleanor, and Joan have all been married off, one to a Duke and the others to Kings.

Intrigue is in the Royal Court as the King's illegitimate son Geoffrey rules as Archbishop of York and the King's youngest illegitimate son, William Longespée, holds his father's favor.
